What is it?

100% Recycled Self-Bonding Roof Slate.

Our synthetic slate has unique and distinguished advantages over other slate tiles on the market due to it's self-bonding. The tiles simply bond together from the warmth of the sun or heat-gun creating one waterproof membrane. The benefit of the process it that it gives you a stronger and more pliable solid roof that leaves it weather and wind resistance, even at very low pitches.

 The Installation method cannot be simpler as the slates are fitted straight onto OSB board or Plywood needing no roof battens. A standard breathable underlay is then nailed down with copper, stainless steel or hot-dipped galvansied nails.

 The installation process is much more cost effective as it takes less than half the time to install than a traditional slate roof. Damages and breakages are no longer an issue as they are with real slate.
