COVERAGE: The chart above is useful for estimating sealant requirements. The chart shows approximately how many metres each cartridge will cover so you can calculate how many cartridges of sealant you will need.

CUTTING THE TIP OFF THE NOZZLE: Depending on the angle you will be working in, cut the nozzle at an angle of up to 45°. If you’re not sure, practice on some scraps of timber held at approximately the angle you will be working in. The biggest mistake is cutting too far down the nozzle, creating an opening that’s too big. The opening should be slightly smaller than the bead you want to apply.
