ADV007 once fully cured has a high Shore A hardness enabling it to be used as an Anti-Pick Sealant in many areas including; Hospitals, Prisons and Public buildings.
PROPERTIES
ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive is chemically neutral, and free of silicones, solvents, and isocyanides. It performs an odourless reaction with air moisture, remains permanently elastic, and is fungicidal, non-ageing, weatherproof, and UV-resistant. ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive is paint-compatible in accordance with DIN regulation 52452 part 4.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive is used for miscellaneous bonding and sealing of seams and joints in the construction of buildings (including glass and mirror constructions, the latter in accordance with DIN regulation 1238), vehicles, train wagons, and ships, as well as in mechanical, electrical, and ventilation engineering, and air conditioning technology. It may also be used on floor joints. Depending on the stability of the surface, ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive is additionally suitable for the sealing of interior and exterior expansion and connecting joints in civil engineering; it may be used on moist surfaces. ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive creates elastic bonding between concrete, stone and brickwork, metals and plastics, as well as wood, ceramics, marble, etc. ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive may not be used for the construction of aquariums.
PREPARATION OF ADHESIVE SURFACES
All adhesive surfaces must be capable of bearing loads, dry, free of grease and dust, and have a temperature of at least +5° C. Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with a Special Cleaner. If necessary, use a primer. On porous surfaces, ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive achieves sound adhesion if the surfaces are capable of bearing loads; to achieve maximum adhesion (in accordance with DIN regulation 18540), primers must be used. Before application, plaster residue, dust, sand, rust, cement sludge, formwork release oils, old adhesives, separating layers, and colour residue must be removed mechanically. Surfaces containing tar or bitumen are unfit for use as adhesive surfaces. Use on high-fired ceramics and enamel creates danger of soiling. Store in cool and dry environments,
ADV007 Hybrid Adhesive can be stored for at least 12 months.
