Stelmax 1961 Gap Filler
The Stelmax 1961 Gap Filler and Sealant is a convenient solution for sealing gaps in PVC materials. It is composed of PVC resin, pigment, and plasticizers, which allow for easy application and bonding. This versatile product can be used for both rigid and plasticized PVC, and it also adheres well to porous substrates. With its exceptional strength, Stelmax 1961 creates maintenance-free joints that are widely used in the window industry for frame installation and attachments. The high solid content of this sealant makes it ideal for filling larger gaps. Once dried, it exhibits excellent resistance to weathering, UV rays, and chemicals, comparable to high-quality rigid PVC. One notable feature is its ability to form a rapid skin upon application, preventing foreign bodies from penetrating the product's surface. After full curing, it creates a colorfast seal that is water-resistant and UV stabilized. Additionally, Stelmax 1961 is available in two finishes: white and mahogany, providing options to match different aesthetics.
