Before installation, it's crucial to drill a pilot hole of 3mm diameter into the support rail using the provided red jig and hardened steel drill bit. With a sleek black color, the W Clip is designed to provide a hidden fixing to deckboards with a central side milling profile.
It comes in two lengths, 60mm or 30mm, and has a width of 5mm at the underside, ensuring a precise 5-6mm gap between deckboards.
The W Clip comes with fixing screws included and attached to the clips, making installation faster and easier. Its Class A rating and aluminum construction make it ideal for non-combustible decking projects.
This bespoke and unique clip has been meticulously developed by Wallbarn to complement the Fire Deck CDeck and Exadeck decking and substructure system.
Featuring horizontal wings and a "chock" box detail, the W Clip ensures the clip stays in place during installation, minimizing waste and streamlining the process. The included black stainless steel screws are part-inserted into the screw chambers to prevent loss and save time. For WPC composite joists, alternative screws can be provided upon request.
