DOWSIL C50 Silicone Sealant (formerly Dow Corning C50) is a high‑modulus, single‑component acetoxy silicone designed specifically for professional sealant applicators. Engineered for superior adhesion to non‑porous substrates, it bonds exceptionally well to glass, aluminium, painted wood, and other smooth construction materials—without the need for a primer.
With excellent elasticity, fast skinning, and built‑in fungicide protection, DOWSIL C50 is ideal for sanitary applications in bathrooms, kitchens, glazing systems, and general construction environments. It cures without shrinkage and maintains long‑term performance even under harsh weather and UV exposure.

When kept at or below 30°C (86°F) in unopened packaging, DOWSIL C50 has a 27‑month shelf life from the date of manufacture.
