Soudal Silirub 2 is designed for building and glazing applications.

This low modulus sealant employs a neutral cure system, ensuring effective adhesion to a variety of construction materials including glass, plastics, masonry, metals, and wood without the need for a primer. It has a very fast skinning time and cures fully, maintaining its volume without shrinkage.

The thick-bodied consistency facilitates precise application and good toolability for professional finishes. It is engineered to accommodate significant movement and withstands UV exposure, rain, and snow. This sealant also offers reliable performance across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for various construction environments.

Applications

Glazing, construction and industrial sealing applications. Perimeter sealing of window and door frames. Sealing of roofline and drainage systems. Bedding of double glazed sealed units in wet glazing applications. Sealing of expansion joints. Roofing seals including lead, and fibre-cement. Industrial applications; coated metals, anodized aluminium, stainless steel. HVAC ducting, pipework and drainage joints. General maintenance and sealing.
